Proctor Engineering Group has worked with leading companies to advance energy efficiency in the residential and small commercial industrial sectors. For example, when Atlantic Electric Company wanted to improve the effectiveness of heat pump efficiency protocols for its Energy Smart Service Program, PEG was contracted to examine the duct sealing and heat pump procedures. After comparing the needs of Atlantic Electric to the results gained in the field, Proctor Engineering Group designed a new heat pump protocol, which provided an easy step-by-step method for on-site quality assurance. PEG also trained utility representatives, field personnel, contractors and consultants on the new procedures and specifications. Atlantic Electric considers this to be one of the most successful programs they have implemented.
