Tom D. Downey, Field Manager

Tom Downey has established a reputation for being one of the top investigators and trainers in the nation on the topics of HVAC systems and building science. As Field Manager of Proctor Engineering Group he is responsible for designing and implementing production and research projects, developing and delivering training sessions on a wide variety of weatherization practices, managing data acquisition and retrieval, installation and management of monitoring systems and data analysis. Tom has worked with numerous organizations throughout the nation and has designed production programs, delivered training, and evaluation services for Atlantic Electric, Boston Edison, Duke Power, Environmental Protection Agency, Hydro Quebec, Massachusetts Electric, Nevada Power, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Potomac Electric Power Company, Public Service Electric and Gas Company, Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, United States Department of Energy, and Wisconsin Gas.
